The mythic crone, maiden, and mother, and the mother’s t-shirt combined with her child suggests death’s presence in life.
I often wonder what’s in people’s heads when they put on a T shirt like that. What does that child see when it looks at its mother? Is it some subliminal cult message? Could she possibly think it’s an expression of love, or is she oblivious to the image she presents?
